Why did we close after just opening?

July 2010 — The Board of Directors announced in 2005 that a new facility for WSC is being incorporated into a multi-use complex being planned in Deale, Maryland — about 25 minutes from SE Washington.

The building of our new facility is behind schedule and we don't know a completion date. To be notified when we have more information, please send an email and we will add you to our newsletter list . Also, we would appreciate any comments or suggestions that you may have about the new facility — such as classes you'd like to see offered, features you'd like to see, etc.

We were very excited and committed to the old site, but were forced out due to eminent domain which demolished our building to make room for a baseball stadium (The Nationals).

However, we expect that our new facilities, when completed, will be even more wonderful and serve the community as we have envisioned.
